Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

$1958.40/week - Job Summary: Seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care for orthopedic, neuro, and pediatric post-op patients. The ideal candidate will deliver patient-centered nursing services in a fast-paced hospital environment. Responsibilities: Administer medication and monitor patient vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and families on post-operative procedures and recovery guidelines. Document patient status and treatment outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record system. Assist with post-op orthopedic and spine surgical care, including care for podiatry patients. Maintain high standards of patient safety and comfort throughout shifts. Qualifications: Current valid RN license with at least 2 years of medical-surgical experience. BLS certification required; PALS certification preferred. Strong communication and patient advocacy skills. Experience with Meditech EMR and orthopedic/post-op care. Ability to work effectively in a team environment with a positive attitude.
