Yard Operations Manager

Lead Operations. Drive Safety. Deliver Results. BETCO Scaffolds is seeking an experienced Yard Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our scaffold yard. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring efficient material handling, inventory accuracy, equipment maintenance, employee supervision, and outstanding customer service in a fast-paced construction environment. What You'll Do Lead and supervise all daily yard operations and personnel Coordinate material pickups and deliveries with customers and sales teams Ensure accurate loading, unloading, inspection, and documentation of scaffold materials Manage inventory accuracy, weekly inventory reporting, and damaged material tracking Oversee yard equipment maintenance, including forklifts and material handling equipment Ensure compliance with company policies, operating procedures, and safety standards Respond to after-hours customer service requests as needed Train, mentor, and develop yard employees to build a high-performing team What We're Looking For 2–5 years of operations or yard management experience (construction, scaffolding, industrial rental, or similar industry preferred) Proven leadership and team management experience Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Comfortable using computers and inventory systems High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and MVR review What We Offer 401(k) with company match Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Paid Time Off Stable, growing company with opportunities for advancement At BETCO Scaffolds, we're committed to providing exceptional service while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.
