Job Description:

Supports forecast build up and financial analysis related to Balance Sheet and Working Capital activities for select Divisions within the Sector. Gathers, consolidates, and analyzes financial data across key areas such as collections, disbursements, accounts receivable, contract assets, contract liabilities, and accounts payable. Develops and maintains monthly Cash Flow models and supports the end-to-end process from data collection through analysis and reporting. Provides insights into trends and variances to support financial planning and business decisions.

Essential Functions:

• Ability to work independently with regular direction and guidance on non-routine assignments requiring sound judgment, ownership, and initiative.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, data manipulation, spreadsheet development, and financial modeling.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Ability to manage, consolidate, and analyze large volumes of financial data to support forecasting and reporting activities.
• Prepare and support Balance Sheet and Working Capital forecasting and modeling activities for select Divisions within the Sector using established systems (PeopleSoft, HFM, UDL) and processes. Coordinate as needed on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Evaluate and apply appropriate methodologies for forecasting Direct and Indirect Cash Flow, ensuring approaches are accurate, consistent, and well-supported.
• Support monthly financial forecasting activities, as well as the annual Joint Strategic Plan (JSP) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) processes.
• Analyze and explain Quarter-over-Quarter (QoQ), Year-over-Year (YoY), and variance-to-prior-forecast changes to identify key drivers and trends.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Prior experience in financial planning and budgeting, with exposure to Direct and Indirect Method Cash Flow analysis preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to perform financial modeling and financial statement analysis.
• Ability to develop and present clear, effective charts, graphs, and other financial data visualizations.
• Experience with HFM and SmartView reporting and report writing is an asset.
• Intermediate to proficient knowledge of Power BI; experience with Snowflake and writing queries is an asset.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, data organization, and interpretation skills.
• Strong team-oriented approach with the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, and functional leaders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate financial information and insights.
• Open, honest, and customer-focused approach to working with internal stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, organize workload effectively, and meet tight or competing deadlines.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C. area, Denver, or NYC areas is $67,000.00 MIN - $124,000.00 MAX. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, Vermont and Virginia is $57,500.00 MIN - $107,500.00 MAX. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
