Location: New Lebanon, IN. Per Diem : Paid per working day at GSA rate for the site city. Travel to and from the site at the start and end of the project is also covered. Pay Range : $125,000 – $145,000. Retirement or pension plan in line with local norms. Health, dental, and vision insurance. Generous PTO policy in line with local norms. Key Responsibilities Boots-to-the-ground leader executing large‑scale, mission‑critical construction projects from groundbreaking through commissioning and handoff. Own daily site operations, coordinate trades, subcontractors, GC relationships and union representatives simultaneously. Enforce safety and quality standards and drive schedules to aggressive delivery milestones. Read and interpret complex structural, mechanical and electrical drawings, specs, RFIs, and resolve field issues quickly. Manage onsite logistics, materials and equipment coordination. Progress reporting to internal stakeholders and external partners is vital. Required Skills/Qualifications Demonstrated experience leading on‑site construction activities for large‑scale, mission‑critical infrastructure projects. Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors while coordinating effectively with general contractors, owners, and union representatives. Strong working knowledge of applicable building codes, safety regulations and industry standards, including OSHA, NFPA and NEC requirements. Ability to read, interpret and apply structural, mechanical and electrical drawings, specifications, submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs). Experience managing project schedules, site logistics, material deliveries, equipment coordination and day‑to‑day field operations. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting hyperscale data center construction projects exceeding 50 MW and $100 million in value. Knowledge of liquid cooling systems and high‑density power infrastructure. Experience overseeing or coordinating commissioning activities for mission‑critical facilities. Physical Demands Ability to walk active construction sites for extended periods throughout the day. Frequent climbing of stairs, ladders and access platforms in multi‑story facilities. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, crouch and reach while inspecting equipment and installations. Must be able to work in indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, dust and construction activities. Ability to lift, carry, push or pull up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Ability to wear required PPE, including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel‑toe boots, hearing protection and fall protection equipment as required. Must be capable of accessing confined spaces, elevated work areas and equipment rooms when necessary. Ability to read plans, equipment labels, test instruments and computer screens. Frequent use of laptops, tablets and mobile devices for documentation, reporting and commissioning activities.
