Retail Personal Banker I – Fort Worth Location Arlington, Texas 76011 General Function Selected candidates become Retail Personal Bankers I after completing a 4‑8 week onboarding and education program, including rotations in operations and Sales & Service. The role focuses on using a consultative sales process to identify and meet customers’ financial needs, acquire new households, deepen existing relationships, and perform teller transactions and platform staff duties. Candidates are accountable for risk management, adherence to policies, and delivering a positive customer experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build a thorough customer profile and identify current and future financial needs. Maintain an in‑depth knowledge of Retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend appropriate solutions using our value proposition. Utilize CAMP and other approved marketing tools to proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews. Primarily focus on cross‑selling to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities such as Membership Advantage onsite presentations, business sales calls, and community financial literacy events, as directed. Establish close working relationships with assigned Business Partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, and Investment) and refer customers for timely, holistic financial solutions. Consistently meet or exceed customer experience and production goals and enhance year‑over‑year revenue growth measured by the Financial Center P&L. Provide guidance to CSRs regarding the sales and referral process. Promote customer satisfaction with a friendly, helpful demeanor and professionalism. Act by answering customer questions and owning customer issues. Maintain trust and confidentiality of all business information. Follow the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other related policies. Adhere to established policies and procedures while opening/servicing the full range of Retail products. Participate in consumer loan and bankcard processes, owning sourced loans from application through closing. Participate in the opening/closing process of the Financial Center or Bank Mart as directed by the manager. Keep up‑to‑date on Retail procedures to mitigate fraudulent activity and reduce risk. Supervisory Responsibilities None. Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required College degree or work experience providing transferable skills, or a combination of education and experience. Experience in the financial industry preferred. Demonstrated comfort with sales activities designed to acquire new consumer households and small businesses and to cross‑sell to established customers. Proficiency with advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information. Professional appearance and strong verbal and written communication skills. Working knowledge of Retail policies and procedures to make sound judgments. Required S.A.F.E. Act registration through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) at employment. Working Conditions Normal office environment with extended computer screen use. Program requires travel within the affiliate for training and scheduling flexibility. Travel outside the affiliate for classroom training sessions.
