The role works closely with Shipping/Receiving and Customer Service to maintain organizational compliance with these standards.Responsibilities:Conducts work in-process audits and final inspection and testing consistent with quality, assurance policies, procedures, methods, and standards.Records above inspection information consistent with prescribed methods and procedures.Assists with the unpacking and repacking of customer orders as needed to ensure customer owned parts are received and shipped in quality condition.Maintain a safe and orderly work area, comply with safety rules and practices, and promote a positive work attitude throughout the department.Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure workflow continuity and quality. Safety Glasses and closed toed shoes should be worn at all times. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in a plant setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, reach; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to heavy amounts of weight (up to 50 lbs.); and/or to operate equipment that may require repetitive hand movement.
