Job Description Monitor hotel premises, entrances, exits, parking areas, and public spaces throughout the overnight shift. Conduct routine interior and exterior security patrols. Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, disturbances, emergencies, and guest concerns. Address overnight noise complaints and other guest concerns in a courteous and professional manner. Enforce hotel security policies and procedures. Assist with fire alarms, medical emergencies, evacuations, and other emergency situations. Complete accurate security reports, incident reports, and shift logs. Monitor access to restricted areas and identify unauthorized individuals. Communicate effectively with the Front Desk, Management, Maintenance, and other hotel departments. Contact law enforcement, emergency services, or other appropriate authorities when necessary. Protect hotel property, equipment, and guest belongings. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Follow all Courtyard by Marriott, company, and hotel policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Previous security, hotel, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout an overnight shift. Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful or emergency situations. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to walk and stand for extended periods and conduct routine hotel patrols. Must be available to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
