Project Management, Managed Care / Health Plan
Plans and oversees IT projects to completion: documents identified scope and objectives; roles and responsibilities; deliverables and established schedules and timelines; assigns work to the project team; monitors project constraints and internal customer satisfaction levels and project status. Develops and maintains productive working relationship with business owners, project sponsors, project teams, resource managers, vendors and key clients; gathers the information required for the scope, level of effort analysis to estimate project cost, resources, time and deliverables. Develops baselines for cost and schedule, and continuously monitors actual against planned baseline; develops/updates charter to be submitted for approval; works with resource managers to ensure resource availability and commitment, and effectively aligns resources across projects. Monitors project spend, delivery, service levels, value, and contractual compliance; conducts project meetings, communicating individual roles, project expectations and desired outcomes; evaluates the progress of project on a regular basis and identifies, analyzes and prioritizes any issues/risks; facilitates the resolution of complex problems by meeting with internal customers, vendors, and technical staff to identify problems and potential solutions. Prepares and presents project status updates, including detailed status reports periodically and as requested; conducts formal review, at project completion with business sponsor to confirm acceptance and document lessons learned for future reference and learnings.
Experience: Project Management, Managed Care / health plan experience, proven experience leading multiple, complex project implementations, proficiency in SDLC, waterfall, and agile project methodologies, proven experience with project plans and documentation, proficiency using MS Office Suite including PM tools (MS Project Visio), knowledge of information systems and health plan specific standards.
