The Director of Supply Chain provides strategic and operational leadership for all supply chain functions within the Warfighter Systems division. This role ensures resilient supplier performance, material readiness, cost optimization, and alignment with production, engineering, and program needs. The Director drives supplier strategy, long-range capacity planning, and cross-functional integration to meet cost, schedule, and quality commitments across a rapidly scaling product portfolio.

Responsibilities and tasks include:

• Direct and administer a program of effective material procurement.
• Direct the preparation, negotiation and administration of optimum subcontracts and supplier agreements.
• Assure accurate input and optimum quotations for business proposals.
• Direct the monitoring and audit of procurement functions.
• Direct the establishment and implementation of company procurement policies and procedures.
• Represent Twenty-Six Defense in negotiations with government or customers.
• Assure adequate sources of supply for all material and service requirements.
• Evaluate and determine labor requirements.
• Select, train, and develop subordinates.
• Ensure the efficient resolution to all supply chain problems.
• Promote satisfactory employee relations.
• Maintain effective liaison with suppliers, customer representatives, and subcontractors.
• Maintain effective liaison with all departments.
• Maintain effective liaison with private and public agencies.
• Direct entire supply chain management process.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100, ITAR, DFARS, and procurement regulations.
• Promote Lean and continuous improvement methodologies across supply chain processes.

Required qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of supply chain, procurement, or operations experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years leading teams with demonstrated cross-functional influence.
• Strong understanding of supplier development, risk mitigation, and production support.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Master's degree or professional certification (APICS/CSCP, CPSM, Lean/Six Sigma).
• Experience in high-mix, high-complexity production environments.
• Familiarity with AS9100, government contracting, DFARS, and ITAR requirements.
• Demonstrated success leading supply chain transformation initiatives.
• Experience in aerospace/defense or other regulated manufacturing environments.

Skills and abilities include:

• Requires outstanding leadership, negotiating and managerial skills.
• Requires a thorough knowledge of requirements planning, vendor quality management techniques as well as a thorough understanding of the optical, electronic, casting and machining industries.

Travel/Physical Requirements:

• This role requires 10–20% travel, including vendor site visits, supplier audits, and cross-site operations.
