Registered Nurse - Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP)

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00)

Job Description

The LDRP unit is a 32-bed facility focused on delivering comprehensive care to mothers and infants. The Registered Nurse will provide nursing care during the labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum stages, ensuring the best outcomes for mothers and newborns while adhering to protocols and standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as per established protocols.
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and provide support during labor and recovery phases.
• Conduct assessments of patients, including triage of obstetrical patients.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and perform necessary interventions.
• Provide education and discharge instructions to parents.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in LDRP or related field.
• Registered Nurse license required.
• EPIC charting experience preferred.
• Certifications: NRP, AWHONN (or C-EFM), FHM, OB surgical recovery preferred.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
