Pediatric Primary Care Physician (30329)

Overview

PAGNY is adding a Pediatric Primary Care Physician to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx (NCB). Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and NCB has 213 licensed beds. The hospitals maintain a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein College of Medicine to sustain high-quality care across emergency medicine, trauma, pediatrics, primary care, and women’s health.

Responsibilities

• Independently complete history and physical examinations, interpret data, and determine appropriate diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests as clinically appropriate.
• Perform medically necessary physical exams as part of the standard course of treatment for each patient.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues as an integral part of a world-class health system.
• Manage all patient interactions within the area of service.
• May manage both acute and chronic conditions.
• Work schedule may include evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
• Active New York State Medical License.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary ranges reflect 40-hour work weeks and vary by board certification status:

• Annual Base Salary: $236,000 (board eligible) or $241,000 (board certified).

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $355,120 (board eligible) or $360,620 (board certified), including base salary plus benefits such as 401(k) contributions and additional compensation for sessional/per diem hours. Additional details include:

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours per week: $55,520.
• Projected bonus of up to $40,000 based on quality and productivity targets.
• 401(k) Company Contribution: 3% immediately; after one year, 7% additional company contribution. No employee match required.
• Annual CME Reimbursement.
• Generous Paid Time Off (PTO): vacation, sick, holiday, and CME days.

• Life Insurance and AD&D: 2x salary up to $300,000 at no cost; additional voluntary coverage available.
