Client Services Lab Assistant - Client Services Aiea Heights

Job Summary Location: Aiea, HI Status: Full-time Days/Hours: TBD Base hourly pay rate: $19.74 to $21.71 Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 In this role, you will: Assist or resolve client issues by performing a thorough investigation, evaluating findings, and responding to the client in a timely and efficient manner. Assist in resolving discrepancies in reports by consulting with technical and managerial staff. Understand specimen requirements as they pertain to lab testing in order to provide accurate results. Ability to understand differences in specimen types. Be responsible for client notification of STATs and Criticals. Understand and recognize the Critical values based on the given guidelines and respond appropriately. Assist in tracking and monitoring send‑out tests. Assist in problem resolution for future applicability and forward to the appropriate quality assurance individual (supervisor, manager, pathologist, etc.). Maintain professional/technical knowledge by reading professional publications and attending continuing education seminars. Pursue referenced test results to satisfy client needs and requests. Assist the Send‑out group with prior authorization and other assignments as necessary. All you need is: High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous training or experience in specimen collection or processing. Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills. Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including but not limited to telephones, computers, centrifuges, and audible alarms.
