As a Semiconductor Design Manager at AECOM, you will lead semiconductor manufacturing facility design teams, coordinate with client stakeholders, and manage project resources to deliver high-quality, on-schedule projects. The role involves both technical design and client interaction, with opportunities for career mobility. Responsibilities Lead semiconductor manufacturing facility design team to deliver projects that meet client requirements on schedule and to a high degree of quality, covering architecture, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, security, fire protection, ICT, and BMS/EPMS. Manage project resources, including onboarding/offboarding staff. Host and attend meetings with clients and other stakeholders. Identify problems early and develop creative solutions. Foster a collaborative team culture and maintain strong communication. Proactively manage and communicate change throughout the project. Oversee peer reviews and quality checks in line with client and AECOM standards. Provide project updates and resolve outstanding issues with stakeholders. Develop technical and financial proposals. Build trusting relationships with clients. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in architecture, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering, plus ten (10) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership experience. Preferred Qualifications Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Architecture License. 10 years of relevant experience in design and/or project management. 5 years of experience in semiconductor design. Strong emotional intelligence, situational awareness, and interpersonal judgment. Ability to work in dynamic, time‑sensitive situations with minimal oversight.
