Purchasing Coordinator

About the Role

The Purchasing Coordinator is a key administrative supply chain role designed to create, update, and manage finished good/inventory Purchase Orders for all Ariat and third-party products. The position is focused on ensuring efficient, accurate and timely processing of POs while also collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to pro-actively resolve discrepancies and errors. The successful candidate will have a strong sense of customer service awareness, be able to prioritize and deliver results within tight deadlines, and identify and implement automation and optimization opportunities.


You'll Make a Difference By

• Creating, amending, auditing, and managing product Purchase Orders for all products and channels.
• Managing daily, weekly, monthly reporting in Tableau (ie open PO report/order book, etc) to ensure timely, accurate PO management and closure.
• Partnering with global Planning and Production to process launch and replenishment product POs and aligning on order related information.
• Supporting 24-48-hour processing SLAs.
• Collaborating with Marketing to process Fixture, GWPs, and Accessories POs on-time and without error.
• Supporting retail teams with data set-up and processing in Team Works.
• Auditing all incoming information prior to PO set-up. Resolving missing, unclear, or inaccurate data quickly and effectively.
• Serving as a key UAT team test member for system functionality changes/upgrades (S4, TeamWorks).
• Assisting with other responsibilities based on business needs.

About You

• AA degree or above in business or a related field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Operations Management)
• 0-3 years of work experience in a retail or corporate supply chain environment working with multi-functional and cross-functional teams
• Able to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environment
• Process-oriented with solid time management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high-quality work, with minimal supervision
• Ability to identify problems and define, recommend and implement solutions
• Strong quantitative skills. Ability to identify, gather, synthesize and interpret data from multiple sources, distill the correct conclusions, and create action steps
• Adept communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with and influence internal/external stakeholders
• Proficient at building relationships, making presentations, and holding valuable one-to one conversations
• Well-organized, with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
• Strongly motivated with sense of urgency
• Intermediate MS Office suite and other analytical toolset (e.g. Tableau) skills. Knowledge of SAP AFS/S4, INFOR a plus

The hourly range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 per hour.

The compensation is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data for geographic locations. Ariat in good faith believes that this posted compensation range is accurate for this role at this location at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
