If you love clean numbers, organized records, and working in a dynamic small-business environment, we want to meet you.The Bookkeeper/Accountant will serve as the financial backbone of our daily operations. Reporting directly to ownership, you will manage all bookkeeping functions, ensure our records are accurate and up to date, and deliver clean monthly financials that support key business decisions. You’ll work in QuickBooks and own the full accounts payable/receivable cycle, monthly reconciliations, and financial reporting.Key Responsibilities:Manage all day-to-day bookkeeping in QuickBooks (Online), maintaining clean, accurate, and current financial recordsProcess full-cycle Accounts Payable (AP): enter vendor invoices, schedule payments, resolve discrepancies, and maintain vendor filesProcess full-cycle Accounts Receivable (AR): generate customer invoices, post payments, and follow up on outstanding balancesPerform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely mannerPrepare monthly financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow summaries for ownership reviewAssist with month-end and year-end close procedures, ensuring all transactions are posted accuratelyMaintain organized financial records and supporting documentation for all transactionsCoordinate with our external CPA for tax preparation, audits, and compliance needsTrack job costs and assist with project-level financial reporting as neededSupport payroll processing and related reporting in coordination with ownershipQualifications – Required:Minimum 2 years of hands-on bookkeeping or accounting experience in a similar roleProficiency in QuickBooks (Online) – this is non-negotiableDemonstrated experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processesStrong working knowledge of bank reconciliations and monthly financial reportingHigh attention to detail with a track record of accuracy in financial data entryAbility to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independentlyProficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard office softwareExcellent organizational and communication skillsQualifications – Preferred (Bonus Points):Experience in the home improvement, construction, or home services industryAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldQuickBooks certification or equivalentCompensation & Benefits:Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per yearFull benefits: health, dental, vision, life, 401(k)Supportive, team-oriented office cultureOpportunity to grow with a fast-scaling local franchiseDirect access to ownership with real impact on business decisionsHow To Apply:To apply, please submit your resume along with a brief cover letter describing your QuickBooks experience and why you’re a great fit for this role.
