As a Clinical QA Specialist, you will support quality assurance initiatives across a specialized cardiac device monitoring environment, helping ensure clinical work consistently meets established standards and regulatory expectations. This role combines hands-on quality auditing with clinical expertise, data accuracy, and continuous improvement. You will partner closely with clinical leadership to identify quality trends, strengthen operational processes, and improve productivity and outcomes. Your expertise in cardiac device diagnostics across major manufacturers will be essential to maintaining high standards of clinical accuracy. The position is fully remote within the contiguous United States and requires a high degree of independence, attention to detail, and confidentiality. You will contribute directly to a patient-centered model where quality, reliability, and accurate clinical information are central to every patient interaction.

Accountabilities:

• Conduct clinical quality assurance activities to verify adherence to applicable regulatory requirements, internal standards, clinical protocols, and established quality expectations.
• Perform calibration audits, inspections, and other quality reviews to assess accuracy, consistency, productivity, and compliance across clinical workflows.
• Analyze audit findings and quality trends, partnering with clinical leadership to identify root causes, address recurring issues, and implement appropriate improvements.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and KPI-driven projects designed to strengthen operational efficiency, optimize costs, improve quality outcomes, and support sustainable margins.
• Apply strong cardiac device management expertise when reviewing clinical work and interpreting device-related information, helping maintain a high standard of accuracy across quality assurance activities.
• Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive patient and organizational information and consistently follow HIPAA, PHI, and applicable privacy and security requirements.
• Support a patient-centered care philosophy by recognizing the impact of clinical quality, accuracy, and operational reliability on patient outcomes.
• Maintain required productivity and quality targets while working independently in a remote, computer-based environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as healthcare, life sciences, engineering, or a comparable field.
• Successful completion of a cardiac device rhythm management course or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 3 years of recent experience in cardiac device management, with strong practical knowledge of device monitoring and clinical workflows.
• Demonstrated experience interrogating and interpreting device diagnostics across all four major manufacturers: Medtronic, Abbott/St. Jude, Boston Scientific, and Biotronik.
• Required International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) certification, including CCDS, CEPS, or CDRMS credentials.
• Proven experience performing or supporting clinical quality assurance activities within a healthcare environment, with a strong understanding of quality, regulatory, and compliance expectations.
• Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to identify discrepancies, interpret findings, recognize trends, and support data-driven improvement.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including Medicare reimbursement guidelines and ISO standards, is expected.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clinical leadership and colleagues in a remote environment.
• Proficiency with collaboration and productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, and Slack.
• Ability to work consistently at a computer, perform repetitive data-entry motions, communicate effectively through voice and video technologies, and exchange accurate information.
• Ability to maintain a dedicated and private home office, reliable high-speed internet connectivity, and professional working conditions suitable for handling confidential information.
• Must reside and work exclusively within the contiguous United States and be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must notify and obtain appropriate approval before working from any location other than the legal work address on file, in accordance with applicable IT and workplace policies.
• Willingness to undertake limited business travel when required.

Benefits:

• Target compensation range of $93,000–$103,750 USD , depending on education, experience, and certifications.
