Outside Sales Executive (Indianapolis)

Outside Sales RepresentativeWe have partnered with a growing Chicago-based B2B company in their expansion into the Indianapolis market. We are looking to hire a driven, competitive Outside Sales Representative to identify new business opportunities, build a strong sales pipeline, and drive revenue growth within an assigned territory. This is a hunter-focused role for someone who thrives on prospecting, cold calling, building relationships, and closing new business with minimal oversight. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, coachable, and results-oriented, with a strong work ethic and the ability to take ownership of their performance.Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate New Business: Proactively identify and pursue new customers through cold calling, door-to-door outreach, networking, referrals, and other prospecting activities.Build a Sales Pipeline: Independently develop and manage a pipeline of qualified prospects to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.Own the Sales Process: Manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach and needs assessment through proposal development, negotiation, and closing.Develop Customer Relationships: Build strong relationships with prospective and existing customers to understand their needs and identify opportunities for additional business.Manage an Assigned Territory: Plan and execute an effective territory strategy, prioritizing opportunities and maximizing time spent on revenue-generating activities.Drive Revenue Growth: Consistently achieve sales goals through disciplined prospecting, effective selling, and a focus on measurable results.Maintain Accurate Records: Track sales activity, pipeline progress, customer interactions, and forecasts using CRM tools.Take Ownership of Performance: Monitor results, incorporate feedback, and continuously improve sales effectiveness.Requirements & Qualifications1–2 years of sales experience, preferably in B2B sales, business development, or outside sales; highly motivated entry-level candidates with strong potential will also be considered.Demonstrated willingness to prospect independently through cold calling, in-person outreach, and other proactive business development methods.Competitive, self-starting mindset with a strong work ethic and a desire to achieve measurable goals.Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills.Coachable and accountable, with the ability to receive feedback, stay organized, and work independently.Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment with limited reliance on warm leads or day-to-day supervision.Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout an assigned territory.Familiarity with CRM platforms, such as Salesforce, is a plus.Bachelor's degree, prior experience in a structured sales training environment, or a competitive athletic background is preferred but not required.Compensation & OpportunityCompetitive base salary with an uncapped commission structure.Strong earning potential tied to individual sales performance and new business development.Opportunity to build a customer portfolio, grow revenue, and advance within a performance-driven organization.This position pays a base salary of $55,000-$65,000 dependent upon experience (with a targeted OTE of $100k) and offers a full suite of benefits including (but not limited to) medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401k, professional development opportunities, paid holidays, and PTO.
