Credit Card Risk Strategy Analytics Associate

As a Strategic Analytics Associate in Customer Exposure Management Credit Risk Strategy team, you will be part of the core policies that keep our customers engaged while managing the risk of customer’s total exposure. You will be responsible for leading the efforts to provide effective challenge and recommendations to the customer exposure policies, supporting the balance between satisfying customer total exposure needs and responsible lending. You will also be responsible for the risk management of the waterfall income policies, where decisions are made of the best source of income to be leveraged to assess affordability and risk across portfolio proactive policies. You will meet regularly with partners across Risk Management (as both customer exposure and waterfall income are upstream policies for many proactive policies across acquisitions and portfolio), Finance, Lending, Product and Business units. Job ResponsibilitiesLead analytics to drive risk policies and innovation partnering with and influencing cross functional teamsWork with areas across Risk, Lending and IT to support the launch of risk policies and capabilities with an emphasis on strong testing and controls, while keeping customer experience at top of mindMange risk policies to drive financial performance and risk mitigation improvements while innovating to ensure optimal policies performanceLead inclusively, with purpose and integrity, and strong focus on continuous professional development and talent managementWork closely with Risk Governance, Legal and Compliance to ensure policies are in compliance with laws and regulations Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Bachelor's degree in quantitative discipline from an accredited college/university requiredMinimum 1 year of risk management, financial services, analytics or consulting experienceStrong project management skills and attention to detail to deliver new policies in a complex decision technology environmentDemonstrated proficiency in solving business problems and working past ambiguity through structured analytics and effective communication and interpersonal skillsProven ability to develop effective controls and manage riskPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills3+ years of experience in Risk Management, Data and Analytics or similar rolesStrong SQL coding skills, Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Tableau skillsChase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America’s households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
