Then this might be the job for you!The Role:Our Valuations team is responsible for delivering accurate and reliable vehicle valuations and pricing in line with our strategic goals. We use SAE (Statistical Analytical Engine), JD Power’s state-of-the-art valuation methodology, to ensure precision and consistency.As a Automotive Market Analyst, you will produce valuations for used vehicles and forecast values where relevant. You will analyse the current vehicle market across cars and commercial vehicles.The Impact You Will Have in This Role:You will ensure JD Power’s monthly valuations and forecasts remain accurate, timely, and aligned to market reality—directly supporting client decision-making and pricing confidence. Your insights into model performance and market trends will strengthen valuation governance and improve consistency across cars and commercial vehicles. You will also help protect customer experience by responding to valuation questions with clear, data-backed rationale.What You’ll Be Doing in This Role:Ensure the publication of accurate and timely used vehicle valuations by reviewing, adjusting and completing Statistical Estimates (SAE) values, or using other methods where SAE is unavailable, maintaining valuation accuracy as a core pillar of our activity.Depending on asset type, ensure accurate and timely forecast values by reviewing current model behaviour, market trends, make/model strategy and adjusting values accordingly.Assess new models, facelifts, and brands to create initial used and forecast valuations.Attend industry events to gather market and product knowledge and share insights with the team, identifying and tracking key market trends and influencing factors in the automotive sector.Contribute to regular market reviews and valuation policy meetings.Manage responses to customer valuation-related queries.Collaborate and build strong relationships across functions, including Data Science, Customer Experience, Sales and Product.Qualifications of this Role:Prior experience working in the automotive market or related industries and a keen interest in automotive trends.Excellent command of Dutch, French and English – this is essential as the Dutch, Belgium and French markets will be a primary focus on the role.Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel) and IT affinity.Experience analysing large datasets using BI tools (preferably Tableau) and a basic understanding of statistics.Structured, goal-oriented, and analytical approach to work.Willingness to travel when required.Company MissionOur mission in the market we serve is clear.
