Plant Director

Plant Director – Garner, NC Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Plant Director in Garner, NC to lead a high‑volume production and distribution facility supporting PepsiCo and Keurig Dr. Pepper brands. Role Lead all plant operations across production and warehousing Oversee 300+ employees in a facility producing 15M+ cases annually Own performance across safety, quality, service, cost and OEE Key Responsibilities Manage all plant operations for production and warehouse facilities Hire, lead, and develop Operations staff Implement new technologies to improve quality and reduce costs Create and maintain documentation related to production, warehouse quality, and inspections Partner with and support the Sales Department Develop and execute all Annual Operating Plan (AOP) objectives Provide support to customers and suppliers Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, quality, and audit standards (AIB, etc.) Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and/or TPM methodologies Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience Proven experience managing large employee populations (200+ preferred) Strong understanding of P&L management Demonstrated leadership, sound judgment, and decision‑making ability Strong computer skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail Strong knowledge of GMP and food safety standards Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred (Engineering, Business Administration, or any related field) Beverage or high‑speed CPG manufacturing experience Union experience Food safety, AIB, or audit experience Compensation & Benefits Relocation Assistance Paid time off, including holidays, vacation days, personal days, parental leave, and bereavement leave 401(k) with a company match Medical, prescription, dental, and vision insurance options, as well as supplemental health plan options, including accident, critical illness, and hospitalization Saving and spending accounts Company‑paid telemedicine services Free counseling and information services Wellness program Company‑paid life insurance Company‑paid disability coverage Adoption assistance Education assistance Legal service plan option Pay advance option Unfortunately, we will be unable to offer visa sponsorships to candidates.
