Veterinary Client Service Representative - Part-Time

Job Overview Veterinary Cancer Group SFV is hiring a Part‑Time experienced Veterinary Client Service Representative to join our amazing oncology team! The Client Care Specialist is the primary support to our front office. Our Client Care Specialist plays an integral role in the hospital. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments for existing and new clients, preparing clients for consults, handling animals, managing records, presenting financial options, reviewing service charges, entering data into the client processing database, extensive client interaction, and preparing clients for their next appointment. Our Ideal Candidate Experience as a Veterinary Client Care Specialist preferred Experience in Oncology is a plus Team player with willingness to cross‑train in all areas Positive attitude Job Responsibilities Greet clients and patients in a friendly manner. Get weights on patients and update medical records. Escort and place patients in examination rooms. Notify the doctor of the patient’s arrival. Ensure new patient records are created for the following day and add a new patient history sheet if needed. Confirm appointments for the following day. Prepare drop‑off forms, estimates, and client authorizations. Coordinate incoming calls and client callbacks. Set up and schedule all appointments for new patients and rechecks. Track no‑shows and canceled appointments by noting in the medical record. Gather new patient records by calling the referring veterinarian’s office. Enter new client and patient information into the computer. Enter all correspondence into the patient’s medical record. Keep existing client and patient information up to date. Perform light cleaning of the exam rooms and front lobby area. Check clients out by receiving and processing payment for services rendered and reviewing and printing invoices. Receive signed surgery/treatment consent forms and euthanasia forms. Monitor incoming faxes/emails and distribute appropriately. Attach laboratory results to medical record and task to doctor for review. Perform other duties as assigned. Pay Range: $20.00‑$25.00 hourly dependent upon experience.
