Healthcare Business Systems Analyst

Requirements

• 4 or more years of experience in technical business analysis within healthcare or enterprise IT environments.

• Proficiency in case management workflows, health and human services platforms, and healthcare compliance systems.

• Experience with Agile SDLC methodologies, user story creation, and backlog tracking in Azure DevOps.

• Experience in business process mapping, gap analysis, and system workflow diagramming using MS Visio.

• Experience with test plan design, integration testing, regression testing, and UAT coordination.

• Experience in relational database data models, vendor software evaluations, and implementation planning.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document functional business requirements, use cases, and technical user stories.

• Construct detailed system workflow diagrams, gap analysis documents, and process models for modernization efforts.

• Serve as the primary technical liaison connecting business stakeholders, clinical users, and development teams.

• Design and execute comprehensive test scenarios for integration, regression, and user acceptance testing phases.

• Identify project risks, manage technical dependencies, and track requirement scope changes across workstreams.

• Author user training manuals, system operational guides, and implementation rollout documentation.

• Evaluate commercial software vendor platforms against documented technical specifications and compliance needs.
