Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in a telemetry environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care and telemetry, specifically in a CCU or high-level telemetry setting.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients requiring cardiac monitoring.
Administer medications and monitor patient responses, particularly with titratable drips.
Utilize advanced respiratory support techniques, including Bi-PAP and long-term ventilation.
Assist in the management of acute and chronic conditions of patients in critical care settings.
Float to IMCU and Med/Surg units as necessary based on staffing needs.

Experience Requirements

A minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in CCU or high-level telemetry.
Proficiency in managing titratable drips and understanding cardiac rhythms.
Strong nursing skills in a critical care environment, with an emphasis on cardiac care.

Preferred Experience

Over 5 years of experience, including IMCU and CCU backgrounds.

License and Certification Requirements

Current Illinois Registered Nurse License.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.

Work Schedule

Night shift - 12 hours starting at 19:00.
Every other weekend required.
Holidays as needed.

Orientation

12 hours of orientation will be provided, with 6 hours being non-billable.
