Job Details Job Type: Restaurant Management & Position Type: Full Time | Date Posted: 06/23/2026 | Location: 1070 Md Route 3 N, Gambrills, MD 21054, United States | Job ID: 744000133651214 Your Role at Raising Cane’s The Assistant Restaurant Leader is responsible for supporting the Restaurant Leader in day‑to‑day operations of the restaurant and upholding Raising Cane’s standards and culture in all areas of restaurant operations. Physical environment includes working in a fast‑paced kitchen, extended periods of physical exertion, interacting with customers, and working with food products and allergens. Responsibilities Hire and terminate all hourly, non‑management crewmembers. Own onboarding, status change and payroll process for all hourly crewmembers. Create crewmember work and training schedules. Manage performance of all hourly crewmembers (development, coaching, communication, documentation). Act as manager on duty and open/close the restaurant. Manage cash handling and ensure accountability. Enforce Raising Cane’s policies and standards. Execute shift management and safety meetings. Use required tools, forms and logs to support shift execution and corrective action. Deploy crewmembers during a shift. Provide exemplary customer service. Utilize reward and recognition program. Authorize employee functions requiring manager approval. Ensure restaurant cleanliness and facility in good working condition. Complete other duties as assigned. Qualifications Detail‑oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing. Self‑driven, flexible and highly energetic with strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills. Can work effectively and efficiently independently and collaboratively. Can recognize and analyze problems, set goals, create plans and convert them into action to solve problems. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and able to learn new systems quickly. Able to work a variety of shifts (days, evenings, weekends) and travel as needed for training. 3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience. New restaurant opening experience preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older. High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred. Possess a valid driver’s license.
