About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in Step Down nursing License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: - ICU nursing experience willing to work in Step Down/High Acuity PCU - Skills in cardiac Step Down, post-operative heart day 1 - Experience in titrating insulin and managing cardiac & vasoactive drips - Comfortable with tracheostomy and arterial line management Description: Looking for experienced ICU nurses interested in high acuity Step Down nursing. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of Step Down experience. Experience with titrating insulin and managing cardiac and vasoactive drips is essential. Individuals must be able to manage tracheostomies and arterial lines effectively. The nurse-to-patient ratio is an important focus, with a standard of 1:3; 1:4 is considered understaffed. Full contract length is required. Floating within the scope of care may be necessary. Do not submit to multiple positions. No block requests will be accepted. Local candidates will not be considered.
