Opportunity:

RN - IMC

Job Details:

• 13-week contract
• 12-hour variable day/night shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Float requirements include all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units
• Low census eligible in hour increments, typically in 4-hour increments
• 36-bed Med Surg Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry focus
• Patient conditions include stable/weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Primary patients and insulin drips involved
• Ventilator/trach experience required
• Stepdown, intermediate, or PCU experience required
• ICU experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Minimum 2+ years of experience required
• At least 1 prior travel experience required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Scrub colors: any color
• Must be a hard worker, resilient, able to manage independently, and complete tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Contractors must be outside a 50-mile radius of facility

This facility is a hospital offering a comprehensive range of inpatient services, including an Intermediate Care unit that handles a high-acuity patient population. The unit specializes in telemetry monitoring, ventilator and trach management, trauma care, and various complex medical conditions. The facility operates as a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on quality care and adaptability among its staff.
