Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Schedule
Shift: Evenings, 11:00 PM - 11:00 AM
Weekend Schedule: Friday / Saturday / Sunday (block required)

Assignment Details
Patient Ratio: 1:1
On-call: No (but call may be assigned to meet department needs)
Holiday Requirement: Must commit to working 3 of the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day

Requirements
- Valid state license required; compact license must be in hand at submission
- Minimum 1 year RN experience required
- Preferred: Trauma Level II experience
- Required certifications: BLS, CNOR
- Charting system: Epic (hardstop)
- Competence to circulate urgent/emergent cases across ortho and neuro

Roles & Responsibilities
- Circulate for general, urgent/emergent, and trauma cases
- Manage neurosurgical cases including craniotomy and complex spinal fusion
- Oversee orthopedic and total joint procedures
- Assist in robotic-assisted procedures (Da Vinci)
- Handle blood administration, cell-saver experience, and follow universal protocol/time-out
- Manage trauma and multi-system injury situations

Compliance / Notes
- Background checks are required
- Time-off / RTO: Request all RTO/scheduling exceptions upfront during submission
- Parking: No fee
