Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and assessments for patients of varying ages, mapping out individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs.

• Provide crisis intervention services, utilizing your clinical skills to stabilize patients in acute distress and facilitating timely access to appropriate mental health resources.

• Collaborate closely with the Department of Correction to ensure timely access to care for incarcerated individuals, coordinating their housing and treatment within the mental health system.
\n
• Lead therapeutic group sessions focused on mental health recovery, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for participants.
\n
• Document and maintain detailed, accurate records of all patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans to meet regulatory standards and support quality improvement initiatives.

• Engage in weekly clinical supervision with your Clinical Supervisor, enhancing your professional development and ensuring ongoing competency in mental health practices.

• Participate in regular mental health and medical rounds, providing critical insights into patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

• Contribute to case conferences, discussing the treatment and ongoing care for patients, and collaboratively determining the best courses of action.

• Supervise social work interns or student volunteers as needed, playing a vital role in their professional growth and education.

• Respond proactively to other duties as assigned by supervisory staff, demonstrating your commitment to the organization's overall mission.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Current, valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is essential for this role.
