Certified Personal Trainer

Conduct service appointments with members, including body fat analysis, nutritional counseling, proper use of fitness equipment, and safe exercise form. Consult with members to determine and define needs and problem areas. Conduct studies or surveys on members’ needs to formulate appropriate solutions to achieve fitness goals. Advise members on methods to solve needs or problems and recommend specific solutions. Determine a member’s current physical status based on health history. Develop individual exercise programs aligned with members’ goals. Educate and assist members with exercise equipment, fitness, and realistic expectations. Continually monitor and assist members to ensure proper form during exercises. Monitor facility cleanliness and tidiness, including locker rooms. Achieve monthly revenue goals established by the Fitness Manager. Work closely with the sales team to involve new members in personal training. Qualifications & Requirements Current certification from a nationally recognized organization approved by Senior management. Willingness to obtain additional certifications as defined by Company policy. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Experience in designing and implementing fitness regimens. Current CPR/AED certification. College degree in a fitness-related field with practical work included is preferred but not required. Physical Demands Physical demands include bending, squatting, jumping, running, reaching, walking, hopping, spinning, kicking, and the ability to lift 20 lb weights. Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common business-related documents such as membership agreements.
