Computer Assembler

Job Description Job Description The Assembler will test; trouble shoot and replace parts on servers and computers for diagnosis and repair. Main Responsibility: Inspect, test, and diagnose Replace parts as needed Conduct and analyze stress tests Document all symptoms, test results, and parts replaced in shop floor tool Provide back up for QC, inspection, and motherboard testing Basic Skills Required Know basic assembly Know how to assemble components to make electronics function Run and understand testing diagnostics Understand basic error codes Able to troubleshoot common errors and issues Motivated to solve problems Qualifications - Education & Experience Must have a high school diploma or GED. 6 months or more of experience in a repair area Must be able to read and write English. Basic computer skills Demonstrated ability to read and follow written instructions. Must be able to use hands, wrists, and fingers with coordination to constantly use a computer keyboard, and other small handheld tools. Must be hands-on, have ambition and drive to succeed and make things happen. Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
