In this customer‑focused role, you will help maintain a professional, welcoming presence while assisting with security‑related concerns. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $16.50 / Hour Job Schedule Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to control authorized access to the location in accordance with posted procedures. Respond to incidents, delivery‑related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, gate areas, trailer yards, loading zones, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location. Document daily activity, access‑related events, and unusual conditions, and communicate clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding security‑related concerns. Minimum Requirements Be at least 21 years of age. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
