Geisinger is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to join one of the largest and most respected integrated health systems in Pennsylvania. With ten hospital campuses, five surgery centers, two research centers, and the Geisinger/Bloomsburg Nurse Anesthesia Program, Geisinger provides CRNAs with a wide range of practice environments and care models.

Our team includes more than 220 employed CRNAs practicing across diverse clinical settings and patient populations, supported by a collaborative, physician-led system and a 550,000-member health plan serving more than one million residents statewide.

Practice Locations

CRNA opportunities are available at the following locations:

• Geisinger Medical Center (Danville) - Flagship hospital with advanced tertiary care and trauma services

• Geisinger Community Medical Center (Scranton) - Full-service hospital with a Level II trauma center

• Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center (Wilkes-Barre) - Comprehensive care with heart and vascular services

• Geisinger Lewistown Hospital (Lewistown) - Regional hospital serving Mifflin County

• Geisinger Gray's Woods (State College) - Modern multi-specialty medical center with outpatient and procedural services

Position Highlights & Compensation

• Starting Salary: $275,000 annually (subject to increase)

• Recruitment Loan: $125,000 (subject to increase)

• Relocation Assistance: Fully paid

• No Non-Compete Clause

Paid Time Off & Education

• PTO: Starting at 23 days per year, with annual rollover

• Holidays: 6 paid holidays annually

• CME:

  • $3,000 annually

  • 10 CME days

  • $1,000 rollover each year

Retirement & Financial Security

• Automatic employer retirement contribution:

  • 5% of base salary toward a 401(k) (up to $168,600)

  • 9% contribution for earnings above $168,601

• Option to contribute to 401(k) and/or 403(b) retirement plans

• Malpractice Insurance: Provided, including tail coverage up to $100 million

• Life Insurance:

  • Company-paid coverage equal to 1.5x salary (up to $1,000,000)

  • Short-term disability with 60% salary replacement

  • Company-paid long-term disability after six months (60% salary replacement)
