A highly respected district near Irvine is searching for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to serve students in grades 4 through 6 with mild to moderate needs for the 2026–2027 school year. With a manageable caseload—28 students, supported by one instructional assistant—you will have the resources, collaboration, and autonomy necessary to make a meaningful impact.

Key Qualifications:

• Active California CTC licensure (required)
• Expertise working with elementary-aged children, particularly those with mild to moderate disabilities
• Experience in IEP development and implementation
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive learning environment

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to students in grades 4-6
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in close partnership with families and colleagues
• Adapt curriculum and employ differentiated strategies to support diverse learning needs
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers and your instructional assistant
• Maintain comprehensive records and track student progress to inform instruction
• Engage in parent communications, team meetings, and professional development
