We are a highly respected leader in our field and ranked as one of the top construction firms in the Northeast. Union membership is required at the time of hire or within the applicable application window. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair issues in diesel engines, hydraulics, brakes, transmissions, steering, and other systems Perform preventative maintenance Run diagnostic tests and interpret results accurately Perform Federal Motor Carrier periodic inspections Use power, machine and hand tools safely Follow all repair shop regulations and standards Qualifications 3-5 years of experience as a truck mechanic Proficient in equipment software diagnosis, and repair, based on manufacturing specifications Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems Experience in welding preferred Experience repairing paving equipment a plus Strong attention to detail Basic math skills Please note we are unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this position.
