Make an impact in the lives of students as a School Social Worker through two rewarding, full-time contract opportunities located near Canonsburg, PA. These onsite positions, offering 35 hours per week, allow you to provide essential emotional support and behavioral health services within dynamic educational settings.

Position 1 is based at a campus near McMurray, PA, supporting programs designed for students requiring emotional support as well as participating in a partial hospitalization program. This assignment is available for an immediate start and runs through December 2026, with the potential for changes as needed.

Position 2 is a long-term substitute role within a district near Coal Center, PA, starting in October 2026 and extending through the end of January 2027. You’ll step into a critical support position, helping ensure students continue to thrive during an extended leave.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field is required.
• Active Pennsylvania State License.
• PDE Educational Specialist certification preferred; if not currently held, eligibility for emergency certification is acceptable.
• School-based social work experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to map commute to campus locations for reliable attendance.
• Flexibility to work in different educational environments.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct social work services to students in emotional support and behavioral health programs.
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and families.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and implement IEPs and behavioral plans.
• Document services and communicate student progress as needed.
• Adapt to varied caseloads and support changing student needs.
