A well-established skilled nursing facility in the Sarasota, FL area is looking to bring on a knowledgeable and organized MDS Coordinator to support its clinical operations team. This role offers the chance to make a direct impact on resident outcomes while collaborating with a strong, team-oriented staff.

Compensation: $75,000 – $100,000 annually (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the completion of MDS assessments and ensure accuracy and timeliness

• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations

• Work closely with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to support individualized care plans

• Conduct regular chart audits to ensure proper documentation standards are met

• Serve as a resource to staff for MDS-related questions and best practices

Qualifications:

• Active RN license required

• Minimum of 1–2 years of MDS experience within a skilled nursing facility

• Working knowledge of MDS 3.0, RAI guidelines, and regulatory standards

• Experience with electronic medical records/documentation systems

• Strong attention to detail with solid communication and organizational skills
