Ideal Traits & Experience:

• Current license to practice as an SLP in Maryland (required)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience working in Maryland schools strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Passion for fostering communication and academic success in students K-12

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to a K-12 caseload
• Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and track student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings, documenting and communicating student needs and achievements
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create supportive learning environments
• Offer expertise in both group and individual settings within the school context
• Maintain thorough and timely records aligned with school district and state requirements
