The ideal candidate for this position is a cheerful, kind, energetic, and resourceful person with high standards for performance and for finished tasks and products. The P.A. needs to communicate well, ask questions, work independently, and be able to manage multiple projects at the same time. This person will be expected to understand the scope of the job and to keep projects moving forward independently. This is a permanent long-term position located at our home (non-smoking/non-vaping) in San Diego (Point Loma/Ocean Beach).

 

Assist with office tasks

· Technology challenges, such as logging onto professional meetings (e.g. Teams, Zoom, etc.)

· Computer tasks, such as printing & organizing files

· Research assignments

· Travel arrangements

· Creating spreadsheets

· Organizing reimbursement for travel expenses

· Organizing files

· Ordering supplies

· Decluttering office

 

Assist with household tasks:

· Errands

· Decluttering

· Overseeing workers (e.g., housekeeper, pet sitter)

· Overseeing office and house projects (e.g. researching, hiring, and supervising maintenance workers, and/or major purchases and installations)

· Dispersal of redundant items

18-20 hours a week

Flexible schedule but approximately M-F between 9:00-3:00

The employers are an older professional couple who will appreciate having assistance in many areas. They own and manage several businesses and properties and they both travel a lot. When in town, both are in the house and office, most days. There are three cats at the house, too.
