Knight’s Automotive is looking for a dependable, professional Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer to join our team.

What We’re Looking For

Our ideal Service Advisor:

• Has strong customer service and communication skills
• Has a working knowledge of automobiles
• Automotive industry experience is a strong plus
• Is comfortable explaining vehicle repairs and maintenance to customers
• Is organized and able to manage multiple customers and repair orders
• Has strong attention to detail
• Communicates well with both customers and technicians
• Has high ethical standards
• Takes pride in doing excellent work
• Enjoys working with other people who also expect excellence
• Is dependable, professional, and positive
• Wants to build long-term relationships with customers rather than simply make a sale

The Position

As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary connection between our customers and our technicians.

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting customers and discussing their vehicle concerns
• Writing repair orders
• Communicating customer concerns clearly to technicians
• Reviewing technician recommendations
• Preparing and presenting estimates
• Explaining repairs and maintenance in a clear, professional way
• Obtaining customer authorization
• Keeping customers informed throughout the repair process
• Helping schedule and prioritize work
• Following up with customers when appropriate
• Maintaining accurate repair-order documentation
• Providing an excellent customer experience from beginning to end

We are not looking for a high-pressure salesperson.

We want someone who can earn a customer's trust , educate them about their vehicle, make sound recommendations, and help them make informed decisions.

Compensation: Hourly wage plus commission. Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule: Monday–Friday. No weekends.
