Full‑Time Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm Corporate Office, 342 Broadway, Somerville, MA 02145 Salary Range: This position offers an annual salary range of $74,500. – $118,000. Primary Responsibilities: Manages the office area of the CEO, serving as administrator and secretary and provides advanced secretarial and administrative support for the President/CEO. Assignments involve work of a confidential or complex nature, necessitating exposure to sensitive information and contacts requiring considerable discretion, judgment, tact and diplomacy. Coordinates preparations for monthly, quarterly and annual Board and Committee meetings, including, collection of data for reports, production of and distribution of materials for Board members prior to the meeting. Takes minutes at official Board of Directors and other various Committee meetings. Formats, types and enters the minutes of meetings. Acts as official custodian of minutes. Produces reports, correspondence, and minutes of various meetings. Prepares reports, applications and correspondence in conjunction with Executive Officers on various banking related issues. Maintains files on correspondence and other records. Works as site Administrator regarding the Director Access website. Ensures that all Board and Committee agenda items are uploaded to the website in a timely manner. Gives information to callers, takes dictation, composes and types correspondence, reads and routes incoming mail, and performs other administrative and clerical duties. Receives and relays information from callers to the President. Screens telephone calls and responds within scope of expertise. Composes and directs written communication to various people, both outside and within the bank. Processes letters of technical matter and confidential in nature. Responsible for the physical flow of electronic documents within the executive department, including, when required, filing, handling and dispersing of incoming and outgoing mail. Assist the President/CEO regarding administrative, clerical and execution of duties pertaining to the Internal Audit Program. Assist the President/CEO in various matters regarding administrative, clerical and execution of duties pertaining to marketing and advertising strategies. Keeps records of charitable contributions, contributions to civic projects, and dues to business, professional and civic organizations. Assists the President with Community Activities and keeps records of charitable contributions to various civic projects. Arranges and schedules appointments and meetings as requested by persons/customers within and outside the bank. Acts as liaison between the President/CEO and Bank staff. Schedules all travel arrangements for President/CEO and may schedule travel arrangements for other Senior VPs. Other Responsibilities Include: Prepares and arranges facilities in preparation for meetings and conferences. May include pick up and distribution of mail as required. May assist various Leadership Committees on an as needed basis by preparing the agendas and supporting documents. Education & Experience: High school diploma plus one to two years in a secretarial position Proven skills in word processing, Microsoft Excel, strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills required to work with internal and external staff and customers Ability to utilize various types of office equipment Loan Processor Position Summary: This position processes 1-4 family real estate secured and consumer loans in conformance with regulatory requirements, and Bank, Secondary Market Investor & vendor guidelines, policies, and procedures. Full‑Time Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm Loan Center, 337 Broadway, Somerville, MA 02145 Salary Range: This position offers a salary range of $25.60 – $38.74 per hour. Primary Responsibilities: Receives submitted loan applications from all origination conduits. Ensures application package is complete and accurate, including all initial disclosures. Inputs loan application or reviews previously submitted loan application data in Bank’s Loan Origination software system (LOS) &, if/as applicable, vendor software, within designated time frame, to ensure accuracy & initiate application processing. Audits loan file documentation to confirm appropriate & accurate receipt and completion of any/all application documentation including appropriate signatures, dates and other relevant data. Orders flood certifications, appraisal reports, title requests & if/as appropriate, credit reports. Obtains all verification forms as necessary. Tracks and ensures receipt of required documents. Reviews all documentation, when/as received, to ensure accuracy and completeness, & updates loan data in LOS & vendor software systems. Communicates loan statuses and related documentation deficiencies to applicants & loan interviewer/originator. Works with applicants to complete pre‑closing process in order to assure a timely closing. Other Responsibilities Include: Answers mortgage loan telephone inquiries regarding current mortgage applications in process. Performs related clerical and administrative duties as may be assigned or requested. Education & Experience: High school diploma One to two years’ experience in loan processing Good understanding of the Bank’s loan products and services Must be very detail oriented and demonstrate organizational, analytical and customer service skills Must have excellent verbal & written communication skills Ability to utilize various types of office equipment, including computer terminals PC Skills, and use of Microsoft Word, Excel. Loan Origination Software Encompass experience preferred Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Management Staff, performs a variety of customer service and related duties to provide assistance to the Bank’s customers in conformance with established Bank policies and operating procedures. Part‑Time Hours: Friday 4:00pm to 6:30pm, Saturday 8:00am to 1:30pm North Reading, 271 Main Street, Route 28, North Reading, MA 01864 Salary Range: This position offers a salary range of $17.50 – $25.00 per hour. Primary Responsibilities: Process a variety of customer transactions, e.g., deposits, withdrawals, mortgage payments etc. Cash checks within limits of established policy, verifies amount, examines checks for endorsement, and verifies signatures and customer balances. Organizes workstation for day’s activities, e.g., inventories and requests cash as may be needed; verifies cash upon receipt; obtains necessary forms and other supplies. Enters customers’ transactions into computer to record transactions and issues computer generated receipts. Places holds on accounts for various reasons such as uncollected funds, out of state checks, etc. Sells money orders, treasurer’s checks, gift cards, foreign currency and other bank related products. Redeems United States Savings Bonds for customers, if applicable or designated. Balances transactions and cash upon completion of assigned shift by comparing totaled amounts with data recorded on computer. Performs “after‑hours” work, e.g., reconciling bank checks, money orders etc. and scanning daily work and Bank documents as needed. Performs related customer service duties as requested. Discusses Bank Products and Services that will benefit the individual customer’s needs and responds to customers inquiries. Refer problems or concerns to supervisor for further action as needed. Other Responsibilities Include: May perform a variety of related clerical and/or support functions as assigned, i.e., routine correspondence, filing, typing, maintenance of records, data entry, scanning, back up to CSR where applicable and safe deposit box.
