Our organization is in high growth mode, which can provide opportunities for advancement for individuals looking for career progression!The Pharmacy Director is responsible for directing workforce in the day to day operations of pharmacy or multiple locations and managing costs to established goals. For the present this is a working Pharmacy Director with 70% spent working as a staff member and 30% administrative.Required: Registered Pharmacist, Licensed in Utah, with supervisory experience and is results orientedSchedule: Variable. Works with Client Services and Sales team to effectively communicate with customers (DONs, Administrators, Staff RNs) and resolve customer issues.Implements, maintains and reports on core processes.Ensures pharmacy compliance with all regulatory requirements.Emphasizes dispensing efficiency and accuracy with the workforce, and manages the dispensing process to exceed the Company’s goal. Manages the staffing and scheduling process to optimize production and contain labor costs.Manages pharmacy personnel issues including hiring, evaluations, discipline and separation, and monitors and approves payroll.Manages physical inventory to meet client requirements and Company goals.Implements Company, Region and District policies, processes and initiatives.Provides timely and accurate reports as required.Performs other tasks as assigned.Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, its policies and procedures, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.QualificationsEducation/Learning ExperienceRequired: Bachelor’s degreeDesired: MBA; PharmDWork ExperienceRequired: Management/supervisory experience; experience in pharmacy/healthcareDesired: P&L responsibility; LTC experience.Skills/KnowledgeRequired: Computer skills.Desired: Business/financial knowledge; knowledge of pharmacy regulations; LTC pharmacy ; performance managementLicenses/Certifications Required: As required by state regulations; clean driving record and proof of auto insuranceBehavior CompetenciesRequired: Results-oriented; planning/organizing; communication (oral/written), people management; strategic and analytical thinking; teamworkAbout our Line of BusinessPharMerica, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, delivers personalized pharmacy care through dedicated local teams, serving health care providers such as skilled nursing facilities, senior living communities, and hospitals.
