About the Opportunity

She Recruits is proud to present an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated Med-Surg Registered Nurse to join a respected acute care facility in Lake City, Florida. This full-time role is ideal for a clinically skilled RN looking to deliver high-quality care while advancing their professional journey in a supportive hospital environment.

As a Med-Surg RN, you will play a vital role in caring for a wide range of patients with complex medical and surgical conditions, working closely with physicians and care teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions upon admission and during each shift; promptly report changes in status
• Administer medications, monitor for therapeutic and adverse responses, and document thoroughly
• Perform physician-ordered procedures and ensure accurate, timely documentation in the medical record
• Respond promptly to patient needs, delivering proactive and compassionate care
• Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and aftercare
• Translate complex medical information into clear, understandable language for patients and caregivers

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Florida (or compact license)
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required ; BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience required (recent experience preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained within 30 days of start)

Compensation & Incentives

• Annual Salary Range: $60,000 – $90,000 (based on experience)
• Night Shift Differential: +$4.25/hour
• Weekend Differential: +$2.00/hour
• $20,000 Sign-On Bonus for qualified candidates
