Sourcing Analyst

Location: Tampa, FL Duration: On-going 40 hours/week Pay Rate: $33/hr Hybrid: Onsite Tue, Wed and Thur; WFH Mon and Fri Role Overview The Sourcing Operations Analyst drives accurate and timely execution across the sourcing lifecycle, managing assigned purchase orders from buy issuance through delivery to the distribution center. The role combines hands-on operational ownership with analytical problem-solving to protect service, delivery performance, and data integrity. The role combines hands-on operational ownership with analytical problem-solving to protect service, delivery performance, and data integrity. Working closely with Sourcing, Production, Planning, Logistics, Costing, distribution centers, sourcing hubs, and vendor partners, the Analyst provides visibility to execution risks, coordinates issue resolution, and supports informed business decisions. Exposure to sourcing, costing, or production is valuable but is not required; the role is designed for a strong operations professional who can learn and contribute across an increasingly integrated end-to-end organization. How You Will Make An Impact Purchase Order & Execution Management Own execution of assigned import bulk, planned-capacity, and sample purchase orders from buy release through distribution center receipt and closure. Create, revise, and maintain purchase orders with accurate dates, ship methods, item and facility attributes, destinations, and other critical system information. Monitor key milestones, delivery commitments, shortages, pushouts, and shipment readiness to determine whether customer and in-DC requirements remain achievable. Coordinate order changes and ensure timely, accurate handoffs across sourcing hubs, vendors, logistics, and downstream partners. Production & Delivery Visibility Review weekly and ad hoc work-in-process reporting to identify production, material, shipment, and service risks. Track production readiness and key execution dependencies, escalating concerns with clear facts, business impact, and recommended next steps. Partner with vendors and sourcing teams to resolve delayed CRDs, shortages, shipment changes, receiving issues, cancellations, and other operational exceptions. Follow critical orders through shipment and distribution center receipt, ensuring open issues are resolved and accurately reflected in systems. Operational Analytics & Decision Support Analyze purchase order and execution data to identify trends, root causes, and emerging risks affecting on-time delivery and service. Prepare recurring and ad hoc reporting on PO status, buy issuance, milestone adherence, pushouts, shortages, cancellations, and operational performance. Support expedite, routing, cancellation, and prioritization decisions by compiling relevant WIP, liability, timing, and service information. Translate complex operational data into concise actions, risks, and recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders. Cross-Functional Partnership Serve as a key operational partner to Sourcing, Production, Planning, Logistics, Costing, Retail Services, distribution centers, sourcing hubs, and vendor teams. Drive timely communication and follow-through on issues that could affect delivery, customer service, or execution priorities. Build productive working relationships with internal and external partners in a fast-paced, global, and cross-functional environment. Support an integrated end-to-end operating model by developing broader knowledge across sourcing, production, costing, and supply chain processes. Continuous Improvement Identify process gaps and recommend practical improvements that strengthen visibility, accuracy, control, and execution speed. Support reporting automation, system enhancements, and standardization of operational workflows. Contribute to team priorities and special projects that improve on-time performance, responsiveness, and speed-to-market. Key Performance Indicators Purchase Order Accuracy & Cycle Time On-Time Delivery (OTD), OTIF, and OTP Milestone Adherence & Shipment Readiness Risk Identification & Resolution Timeliness Data Accuracy & Reporting Quality Cross-Functional Responsiveness What You Bring To The Team 3-5 years of relevant experience in sourcing operations, supply chain, procurement, production operations, planning, purchase order management, or a related field. Strong experience managing purchase orders, delivery timelines, operational data, and execution exceptions in a fast-paced environment. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with complex data tables, trackers, and operational reporting. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate data into clear actions and recommendations. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, attention to detail, ownership, and a strong sense of urgency. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners. Fluent in English. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Experience with ERP, PLM, sourcing, reporting, or business intelligence tools is preferred.
