This person will work on large and small projects including: retail, restaurant, health clubs, office, medical, educational facilities, and more.

Job Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in construction management or construction related experience

· 5 years experience estimating commercial projects ranging from $100K to $10M

· Ability to establish and build customer relationships

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· Strong ability to read & interpret blueprints and specifications

· Experience with computer takeoff & estimating software such as PlanSwift, RedTeam, Pantera and Building Connected.

· Working knowledge of Excel spread sheets, and Word processing programs

· Ability to juggle multiple projects

· Must be flexible and enjoy working with a diverse group in a fast-paced environment

· Must be able to multi-task and be results driven

Job Description

· Order, download and organize, plans and specifications, for upcoming bids

· Review and analyze plans and specifications to determine project requirements

· Maintain, compile, organize and analyze project-related documentation

· Oversee bid activities and review scope of work to get a clear understanding of the project

· Attend and/or facilitate pre-bid walk throughs

· Prepare in-house budgets and GMP proposals

· Prepare quantity take-offs and apply unit pricing to material and labor

· Write detailed proposals

· Review completed bids and budgets with management

· Participate in business development activities, presentations and interviews

· Establish partnerships with owners, architects and subcontractors enabling collaboration for resolving questions during the bid process
