Senior Accountant

The ideal candidate thrives in an entrepreneurial, family-owned setting where no two days are exactly the same. You are comfortable diving into the details while keeping an eye on the big picture, bringing technical skills in Excel and ERP systems to streamline processes. This role handles end-to-end accounting and full HR/payroll administration for a close-knit team of 12–15 employees, including out-of-state workers. salary: $110,000 - $130,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: Bachelors Responsibilities Oversee and manage all daily accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and month-end/year-end close. Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the Owner. Manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis to support executive decision-making. Work alongside internal staff and external accountants/auditors for tax planning and compliance. Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of 3 accounting and administrative direct reports. HR Support, Payroll & Benefits Run end-to-end payroll for 12–15 employees, ensuring accurate processing and compliance across multiple states (including local/state tax nuances for Pennsylvania and Florida). Administer employee benefit programs, managing open enrollment and ongoing provider administration. Serve as the main point of contact for employee HR and benefits-related questions. Maintain employee records, coordinate onboarding, and ensure multi-state labor law compliance.
