About the Position: This position is located in the Education Department at Army Medical Center Madigan. The work involves coordinating and instructing a training program designed for the 68D (OR technician) Phase II program to all new 68D (OR Technician) medical personnel assigned to the US Army. Advance in Hire may be authorized. This is available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes demonstrates a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction, which includes coordinating medical simulation training activities; preparing medical training instructions materials, aids; or the setup of manikins, moulages or other simulator equipment for various medical simulation training exercises. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). OR Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as degree with a major study in education or a subject area related to the position to be filled, such as in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: healthcare, emergency medicine, or education. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages.
