Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical Telemetry

Location: Biddeford, ME

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical Telemetry team. The ideal candidate will have experience in telemetry and acute inpatient care, with a preference for those with IMC experience. This position requires a commitment to excellence in patient care and the ability to handle a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on telemetry and medical-surgical units.
Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, identifying and responding to patient needs.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to establish comprehensive patient care plans.
Participate in required call shifts as per staffing needs.
Educate patients and their families on tailored care plans and health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Current RN license in the state of Maine.
BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in telemetry or acute inpatient care.
