• Our facility is a 656-bed hospital that encompasses The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, state-of-the-art cancer treatment technologies, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.

Responsibilities

• The Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist is tasked with supervising and coordinating all healthcare services within the Nuclear Medicine Department.
• This role supports operational, financial, and personnel management activities to ensure the department runs efficiently and delivers high-quality patient care.
• Under the guidance of the Radiologist and Radiology Director, the lead provides clinical direction to Nuclear Medicine technologists, ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• The position involves performing and overseeing routine Nuclear Medicine procedures, upholding quality imaging standards, and ensuring adherence to all radiation and safety protocols.
• The lead applies professional judgment in all work aspects while maintaining a demeanor aligned with medical ethics and organizational values.
• This role also requires staying updated on and compliant with ICANL accreditation standards to ensure continuous accreditation and departmental excellence.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

• Completion of an Accredited Nuclear Medicine Program.
• Certification from ARRT(N), NMTCB, or ASCP(N).

• BLS certification must be acquired within 14 days of hiring or transferring into this role and before providing direct patient care.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a supervisory role.
