CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) - 4x10-Hour Shift

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position, requiring a 4x10-hour shift from 06:15 to 16:45. Call is required for 2 days each week and every 3rd weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CVOR Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiovascular operating room nursing, with a strong foundation in handling ECMO and Impella procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures.
• Manage patient monitoring and interventions during surgeries, ensuring a safe operating environment.
• Collaborate with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in call rotations, providing support during high-demand periods.
• Document patient care effectively using EPIC and maintain accurate patient records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in North Carolina or Compact state.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience is required.
• Experience with ECMO and Impella is mandatory.
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience.
