Arabic Transcription Specialist for AI Training

Transcribe and annotate Modern Standard Arabic audio to create high quality training data that improves next-generation AI systems. This remote contractor role focuses on accurate MSA transcription, metadata tagging, and careful review of machine-generated outputs. No prior AI experience is required, your language and transcription expertise are what matter.

• Transcribe audio content in Modern Standard Arabic with exceptional accuracy and fluency.
• Review and correct machine-generated transcriptions, identifying and fixing errors.
• Add metadata tags and annotations to transcribed files to enrich data for downstream AI use.
• Identify contextual information and highlight linguistic nuances in audio files as needed.
• Maintain rigorous attention to detail to ensure consistent, high-quality outputs.
• Collaborate with the customer team, providing clear written and verbal feedback on data quality.
• Handle sensitive or proprietary content with confidentiality and consistency.

• Fluent proficiency in Modern Standard Arabic, both written and spoken.
• Proven experience in audio transcription with a demonstrable record of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience adding and managing metadata tags and annotations for audio or text content.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Ability to spot and correct errors in machine-generated transcription outputs.
• Familiarity with transcription guidelines and best practices for language data quality.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Preferred: background as an audio engineer, data annotator, or professional transcriber, or prior work on large-scale linguistic data projects.

• Engagement type: Contractor, remote.

• Pay rate: $10.00 to $20.00 per hour.
