Arabic (MSA) Transcription Expert

Apply Modern Standard Arabic expertise to create accurate transcription and annotation data that helps improve next-generation AI systems. This remote contract role focuses on turning real-world audio into high-quality language data, with no prior AI experience required. Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe audio content in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) with exceptional accuracy and fluency.
• Review and correct machine-generated transcripts for accuracy, clarity, and linguistic correctness.
• Add and manage metadata tags and annotations that enrich transcription data for downstream AI processing.
• Identify relevant context in audio files and flag linguistic nuances when needed.
• Maintain rigorous quality standards, consistency, and confidentiality when handling sensitive or proprietary content.
• Collaborate with the customer team and provide clear written and verbal feedback on data quality.

• Fluent written and spoken Modern Standard Arabic.
• Demonstrated audio-transcription experience with a strong record of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience adding and managing metadata tags and annotations for audio or text content.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Ability to identify and correct errors in machine-generated transcription output.
• Familiarity with transcription guidelines and language-data quality best practices.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

• Experience as an audio engineer, data annotator, or professional transcriber.
• Experience contributing to linguistic-data projects or managing large-scale transcription work.

• Remote contract engagement.

• $10 to $20 per hour.
